SERVICES / LOGISTICS

Metal trade and raw material supply

A passion for the metal trade: In addition to materials for our own processing, we buy and sell all of the common types of non-ferrous metal scrap and new metals domestically and worldwide. In our contracts we offer you a transparent price structure based on the metal quotes on the London Metal Exchange (LME) and the exchange rates on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (EuroFX).

• Price setting with spot and futures contracts

• Price setting contracts based on the LME

• Tolling contracts for returning new materials (ingots, cathodes)

Tested raw materials – e.g. in granule form –

ensure that you have a reliable supply:

METAL TRADE AND RAW MATERIAL SUPPLY

Processing metals

Working for more than three generations on a mission toward purity: By combining the most advanced processing technologies with our wealth of experience, we generate the highest yields for you in recycling metal scrap – from copper, aluminum, or zinc, for example. We also ensure that foundry drosses and metallic residues are processed in a professional and environmentally sensitive manner. With great success: The metal product quality we achieve meets the highest demands of the processing industry, such as those from metal foundries, semi-finished metal product facilities, refineries, and the chemical industry.

Processing residues

We close the raw materials cycle: We use our mechanical-physical processing methods to extract metal from non-ferrous metal drosses, slags, and residues that can be recycled and then returned directly into the metal cycle.

Processing takes place in closed plants with highly efficient cleaning. All plant sections are approved in accordance with the 4th German Federal Immission Control Ordinance and are subject to regular inspections.

We also test quality: In order to assure it continuously along the process chain, we perform analyses in our own laboratory during the production process. That makes our metal processing efficient – and enables us to offer attractive transfer prices and quick handling.

Overview of our residues purchasing program

• Aluminum drosses

• Grinding waste that contains aluminum

• Brass drosses

• Special brass drosses

• Red brass drosses

• Copper drosses

• Slags that contain copper

• Dusts that contain copper

• Zinc drosses

• Dusts that contain zinc

Production of auxiliary material for casting

Our products, in the form of granules, are used as deoxidizers in steel mills, for example.

Exothermic powders for casting with grain sizes up to 1.0 mm are used in many steel and non-ferrous metal foundries.

• Aluminum granules, min. 98.5% Al, 20–40 mm

• Casting powder, SK 20, SK 30, SK 40, SK 50

EXTRACTING VALUE

Environmental management

Our most valuable asset: As a recycler of metal scrap, the protection of resources and the environment is a top priority for us. Our site is regularly recognized and certified by the TÜV-Nord Cert GmbH as an approved disposal service in accordance with section 56 of the German Circular Economy Act (KrWG). All of the legal responsibilities and procedures related to waste, such as collection, transport, and storage as well as treatment and recycling, are subject to this independent control and inspection. All plant and operational areas and the associated responsibilities were reported to the respective supervisory authorities in accordance with the German Federal Immission Control Act and were approved.
